High School and College: Different but Alike
High school and college are the progress of studying, but there are somewhat different between high school and college in several ways. For example, the educational way of college is dissimilar to high school. Unlike high school, undergraduates can choose the field which they favorite to learn. Although High school and college are different, they are same in several ways. There are two difference and similarities between high school and college, as follows.
One obvious difference is that college students have freedom to do something. There are four examples to mentioned about college students have more freedom than high school students. First, college students can choose some class which s/he wants to learn. In the college, classmates are not bound to have same class at the same time every day. In addition to, student can drop a class after mid-term exam. College students often drop classes when they discovered the class which is not really interested to them or they got bad score in this subject on mid-term exam. Next, students have much leisure to do something they like due to there are not so many classes for undergraduates. For examples, students can join some activities or associations. What，s more, students do not wear uniform differ from high school every day. Last bout not the least, undergraduates can go out to lunch.
Other areas of difference between high school and college are that style of studying in college is open. College students， teachers and rector do not limit the actions of students. We often discovered college students who compose an organization and protest against our government，s policy in news. The actions of students proof the style of studying in college is open. In addition to, undergraduates are open; the education of college cultivates students become independent and publish own thoughts and opinions easily.
Both have the credit system. There are many quiz, exams, and reports high school and college. Students have to study hard before the mid-term and final exam lest they get a bad score. If they always get bad score in a subject, they may flunk in this subject. If they always get bad score and flunk many subjects, they can be flunk out according to the credit system.
Both students enter high school or college all through the examination of entrance. In Taiwan, junior high school students and high school students have to attend the examination of entrance when they will graduate from junior high school or high school. According to their grade of examination of entrance decide their school.
These examples show that there are some similar and different between high school and college. There is no denying that students should study hard to get much knowledge.
